Makeup Spring Clean - Declutter

I love to organise and declutter my life. And this week I decided to declutter and Spring Clean my makeup collection. I don't wear a great deal of makeup but I couldn't justify buying anything new without seeing what I actually wear from my existing makeup collection.

In this video I sort through my makeup collection by sorting it into categories, eye shadows, lipsticks, foundations, blushers, concealers, primers, bronzers, eyeliners and brow kits.

I created to piles which I sorted into my plastic makeup boxes for those items I didn't use but wanted to gift to someone and items that really needed to be thrown away. I ended up having a box full of items to give away to friends and family and a box for throwing. The whole decluttering process was very relaxing and now I know what I own and what I need to buy, which will prevent me from making any bad future makeup purchases - well I hope!
